It is a fact, that social networks are really hot right now. Teens are spending a great deal of time on sites like MySpace, Facebook and others. While social network sites do have merit, they allow people from all over the world to connect.

People can connect with friends and family who live far away. They can socialise and keep in touch with friends, share pictures, music and videos and play fun games. But there is a dark side to social networks. This is something that every parent with a social network surfing teen should know.

Kenya: Mobile Subscriptions to Reach 9.3 Billion By 2019

The report also indicates that more than 60 percent of mobile subscription, which is 5.6 billion will be for smartphones. To support the smartphone user experience, WCDMA/HSPA networks are predicted to cover 90 percent of the world's population by 2019. Moreover, almost two-thirds (65 percent) of the world's population will be covered by 4G/LTE networks.

Currently, smartphones represent 25-30 percent of all mobile phone subscriptions, yet they account for the majority (55 percent) of mobile phones sold.
