Editorial

Dear readers,

Welcome to the fourth issue of the Botswana Speaks Parliamentary Initiative newsletter! These past months have been very productive for the Botswana Speaks project, as well as rewarding.

Botswana Speaks taking a test drive conquered the top spot in our list of happenings! Our team at the Parliament of Botswana conducted a series of visits to the four constituencies where the project is being piloted (Nata/Gweta, Boteti North, Maun West, South East South) and was met with great enthusiasm.

Another important stop was Koblenz, Germany, where Kheira Belkacem, Assistant Programme Director and co-author, presented a paper related to our project, titled "Botswana Speaks Parliamentary Initiative: Paving the Way Towards Better Constituency Services in Botswana."

We hope you enjoy reading all about our project updates as well as the latest developments in eParticipation and Africa in our fall edition of the Botswana Speaks newsletter!

Regards,
The Botswana Speaks Parliamentary Initiative Newsletter Team
